Meet Susie

My passion for midwifery began in my teens and I was honoured to be catching babies by my early 20’s. Holistic midwifery was a powerful calling that after 27 years, still inspires me to be a lifelong learner of all things birth, babies and parenting. I trained in Vancouver and El Paso, Texas and have practiced rurally, as well as helped care for thousands of families in 8 lower mainland cities. I have birthed 4 children into the hands of wonderful midwives and have experienced both home, hospital and waterbirth first hand. My hope is to empower and educate my clients so your journey to parenthood feels safe, supported, well informed and most importantly, full of joy!
